What problem we're exploring
Rebar and concrete structures generate extensive technical documentation — drawings, schedules, measurements — that today gets interpreted and re-typed by hand in the technical office. We're exploring how much of that work can be automated without losing technical precision or professional accountability over the calculation.
Which technical processes we want to reduce
The goal is to cut the hours an engineer spends on mechanical interpretation and transcription — reading a drawing, pulling measurements, building a rebar schedule table — so that time goes instead to what actually needs judgment: validating the result and deciding on ambiguous cases.
Structural documentation
We work with structural drawings in PDF and CAD formats, reinforcement documentation, and technical project specifications — the same documents any technical office in the sector already handles.
Rebar-schedule automation
The first concrete use case is automatic generation of rebar schedules from a project's documentation: identifying elements, extracting their measurements, and building the schedule table that's done by hand today.
Extraction and interpretation of information
We apply AI models specialized in interpreting technical drawings — recognizing elements, reading dimensions, and relating information spread across several documents — combined with validation rules specific to structural calculation.
Current status
This project is under internal development. It's not a finished product, it isn't commercially available, and no experimental feature is presented here as if it already worked in production.
